Malaysian Fair 2013

Dear Malaysians (and awesome Non-Malaysians as well!),

The Imperial College Union Malaysian Society will be hosting it’s annual Malaysian Fair with the aim to bring Malaysia one step closer to the community of Imperial (and beyond!). This small but exciting exhibition booth will showcase the many different colours of Malaysia ranging from traditional costumes, board games and last but not least, our amazing food. Not only that, you MIGHT get a sneak preview and a chance to purchase tickets to one of the biggest annual production Imperial has to offer, namely our Malaysian Night 2013.

Date: 13/02/2013
Time: 10.00am – 4.00pm
Venue: Queen’s Lawn, Imperial College London

Traditional Costumes (Cheongsam, Kebaya, etc.)
Traditional Games (Congkak, Wau, etc.)
Visit Malaysia Enquiries (Where to go? What to eat? Probably the best summer destination ever!)

There will be a Lion Dance performance on the heart of the Queen’s Lawn itself performed by our very own talented and well-trained lion dancers! 😀 . Drums and lions can never go wrong. Never.

Nasi Lemak – £5.00 (Delicious coconut rice served with anchovies, peanuts, egg, chicken curry, and spicy prawn paste to match. Talk about the perfect combination)
Currypuff – £0.50 (Vegetarian pastry with potato curry to make every bite heavenly)

Here’s the catch. Pre-order your Nasi Lemak Set (NL+C) today for a really really cheap price of £4.50. Yes that would mean you save a whole whopping pound for a sumptuous amazing meal. All you have to do is fill up this pre-order form below and turn up before 1.00pm on that day! Take note though that the final date to fill this in would be on the 9th February in case we have to make extra orders. 🙂

So that’s it, you have food, amazing items on exhibition and the best introduction you can have to a diverse yet colourful nation.
