21st – 23rd August 2015. Imperial College Union Malaysian Society annual Fresher’s Camp was held from 21st to 23rd of August 2015. The camp were held in NUBE Training Centre which was located at Port Dickson, whereby it provides an isolation from the hectic city life while maintaining a reasonable distance from the capital city. NUBE Training Centre has a strong history of serving cooperate and school retreats as they have provide reasonable accommodation and decent outdoor space to run the activities. As per ritual, the camp were held for 3 days and 2 nights, filled with ice breaking and exhilarating game sessions; introductory to our annual flagship event – Cultural Night; information sessions to prep fresher’s to go overseas; and not to forget, plenty, plenty and plenty of time for participants to get to know one another. Not to mention, a session featuring one of our sponsor – Citibank were held during the camp whereby participants were enlightened with “Change Management and Adapt into Change” talk. Imperial College Union Malaysian Society takes pride in organizing the Fresher’s Camp and we are proud to say that we have achieved our main goal for this event – initiate and strengthening bonds within the members, in every possible permutation possible. The Fresher’s Camp not only succeeded through the means of bonding among members but also can be seen through the extensive knowledge possessed through the freshers and their readiness as well as excitement to embark their university journey with us.
